Hazaribagh is a district in Jharkhand State of India. It has a total of 16 Blocks in this district. The district has an total area of 3,555 sq km. There are 17 towns and 1,308 villages in this district.

Population of Hazaribagh in 2019 is 1,936,199(estimates as per aadhar uidai.gov.in feb 2019 data). Literate people are 1,013,249 out of 596,113 are male and 417,136 are female. People living in Hazaribagh depend on multiple skills, total workers are 654,636 out of which men are 423,472 and women are 231,164. Total 112,671 Cultivators are depended on agriculture farming out of 83,221 are cultivated by men and 29,450 are women. 43,404 people works in agricultural land as labor, men are 29,331 and 14,073 are women. Hazaribagh sex ratio is 947 females per 1000 of males.

it is india\'s one of the poorest village.few people have money and they lend them at 60% of interst rate.no sanitation and water supply.people falling sick bcoz of dirty water. school upto 8 standard...people are starving and they dont know their rights.i wish i can do something for my village, sooner or later i hope my village will come up .......
