No drinking water is not supplied through pipes in village/my ward. We are using well water which is mixed with river water(sea water) in summer. Transportation is very poor from maharashtra government. Because after 65 years of independent the government has recently made Kachcha road. Regarding agriculture, the land of village is under landowner has sold his land to the company. The villagers who develop/cultivate loose their ownership or lost their family income. The farmer become poor and poor. Now a days they work with other contractors for day to day meal for his family. The company paid lot of money to the landlords, giving good profits to landlords only and acquired the land from the poor and workers in villagers. Also the company has orally promised to the villagers about the jobs but till date no job has been given or start the work of the company. Due to the collapse of the trees and surrounding greenery and environmental loss villagers are facing lot of problems like no cash crops, no wooden material available, grass for pets, shortage of food, grains, fruits, water shortage, shortage of railfall, employment generation, etc. The villagers are living the village and shifted to Goa and around the villages to get employment and work to meet the day to day meal of the family.
