Hanamkonda

Hanamkonda is a new district of the state of Telangana, used to be suberb of the city of Warangal in the Indian state of Telangana. Its located 140 kms from the capital of Hyderabad. This is used to be mandal for very long time and popular rulers were kakatiyas during pre british period. Padmakshi Temple in 12th century, Thousand Pillar Temple was built during the period of the Kakatiya dynasty. Hanamkonda district mandals are shown in district map.
