UPI has incorporated SBI into UPI app, Thus SBI Pay or the new Name for Payment interface BHIM is specially designed for the UPI payments system. BHIM Stands for Bharat Interface for Mobile Payments. This Bhim app is available for Indian Citizens. Main purpose of creating this app is to minimize the use of cash in the Indian society and make use of digital transactions.
This app is named after Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, who had sacrificed his whole life for Dalits and the poor.
How to Setup UPI Address?
Register your bank account with BHIM.
Setup a UPI PIN for your bank account.
Now your mobile number will be your payment address. (You can change it later).
You can start doing transactions via BHIM App now.
To Know your address, By default, your UPI Address will be your mobile number. For example, if your mobile number is 9000012345, then your UPI Address will be 9000012345@upi.
Users can get your custom UPI Address as well with own names, if the names are already registered you can choose other names including alpha-numeric characters. To download
