Lakshadeep

Lakshadeep, is the Indian union territory andd group of islands in the Laccadive Sea, 200 to 440 km off the southwestern coast of India. "Laksha" means one hundred thousand, "dweep" means islands. Kavaratti is the capital city. Around 78,000 people live in these islands.
