Bardhaman is a district in West Bengal State of India. It has a total of 31 Blocks in this district. The district has an total area of 7,024 sq km. There are 96 towns and 86 villages in this district.

As per census Bardhaman has a population of 7,717,563 in 2011 out of which 3,966,889 are male and 3,750,674 are female. Population of Bardhaman in 2019/2020 is 8,218,972(estimates as per aadhar uidai.gov.in feb 2019 data). Literate people are 5,247,208 out of 2,918,040 are male and 2,329,168 are female. People living in Bardhaman depend on multiple skills, total workers are 2,911,251 out of which men are 2,293,083 and women are 618,168. Total 297,193 Cultivators are depended on agriculture farming out of 284,860 are cultivated by men and 12,333 are women. 604,286 people works in agricultural land as labor, men are 476,956 and 127,330 are women. The metal road of Jetherpara remains full of water for 5/6 months after 70 years of independence. Out of total 8 Durgapuja in Orgram 4 of them are on this road. People some times, if raining, compelled to walk putting of shoes and cannot enjoy Durgapuja.

My father hanif sk is real democile of burdwan farakpur which is in west bangel india actully I sm also democile of this village but since born i am usedto living at delhi seldom i go there after 3 or 4 years but i never live there more time and i never celebrate any festival there i hope next i must celebrate eid ul fitr at my village weather i live at delhi capital of india even i love my village my bangoli culture and envoirnment my ensester live there whenever i go thee they care me all villagers who all know me they response me and everyone love me a few years ago ( 3rd june 2012 9:40 pm) my grand mother got die there unfourtunatlly we could not go there although i visit there within 1to 23 my 2013 but i did not feel like to stay there even my uncle anti cosion brother nephew ans niece were there bacause she ( grand mother)has gone...... assalam mu ali kum to everyone behalf of me and my famaily .....

Our village ghatshila under Hatgobindapur Gram Panchayet, village road is under Burdwan Zilla porishad. Village road distance is 2.5 Km, No repair or no develop over 5 years. too many problems for school student and patient.

Balijuri is a beautiful village. This village have lots of cultural and basic heritage.Kalipuja is celebrate with grand enthusiasm by villagers and outside devotees. A beautiful streame flow northern side of the village it's called TUMUNI,:electricity and water supply is excellent. But transportation system is not so good. Few mini buses passing throughout the village need more buses to connecting with Durgapur to Suri and Bolpur.Primary and Secondary education institute is nearer from the village but college education is very far from the village. It is very difficult for the girls. As a responsable citizens our request to panchayat members and villagers make search Bhara

Pubar is verry old populated village.main road through out the village is extreemy bad condition .peoples still dependen on tube well water which is mostly iron contaminated. So we need to focus Sajal dharma scheme for better drinking system. Agriciltire is mian source of income.but for irrigation we have to depend on rain water
