Cooch Behar is a district in West Bengal State of India. It has a total of 12 Blocks in this district. The district has an total area of 3,387 sq km. There are 18 towns and 63 villages in this district.

As per census Cooch Behar has a population of 2,819,086 in 2011 out of which 1,451,542 are male and 1,367,544 are female. Population of Cooch Behar in 2019/2020 is 3,002,242(estimates as per aadhar uidai.gov.in feb 2019 data). Literate people are 1,850,504 out of 1,028,733 are male and 821,771 are female. People living in Cooch Behar depend on multiple skills, total workers are 1,127,977 out of which men are 845,308 and women are 282,669. Total 312,014 Cultivators are depended on agriculture farming out of 283,599 are cultivated by men and 28,415 are women. 272,435 people works in agricultural land as labor, men are 212,822 and 59,613 are women.
